40th Anniversary Renewal of Seeing Through Native Eyes
40th Anniversary Renewal of Seeing Through Native Eyes
10 Session Immersion in Deep Nature Connection
Live Online with Jon Young
October 18th - December 13th, 2023
Stay tuned for the release of the edited audio mp3 package coming soon!
Join us for this once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the live audience for re-recording and re-naming of Seeing Through Native Eyes...
Forty years ago, Jon Young began offering mentoring programs for young people that grew into a world-wide network of mentors helping communities connect to nature, themselves and other people. The foundations of Seeing through Native Eyes and Kamana began in 1983, supported thousands of people's learning and connection journeys over 40 years, and continue to this day.
The wisdom in the audio series is intended to bring a person, regardless of race or culture, into deep relationship with the land, the wild beings, elements, and all other aspects of the natural world, as is the birthright of all.
New Names...
The term 'native' as used in the original recordings refers to the knowledge and connection one would have if they were raised in a traditional subsistence-based culture, living close to the land, juxtaposed to a person who is—due to lack of connection, knowledge and experience—functionally "alien" to their ecosystem.
Times have changed, science has evolved, as have social needs. To meet the times, we are not only re-recording Seeing Through Native Eyes, but also editing the Kamana Naturalist Training Program, and finding new names for both!
Tracking our Roots in Nature is both the name of this live re-record journey, and is also what the final product of the newly recorded version of Seeing Through Native Eyes will be called.
We are happy to have the opportunity to re-visit the invaluable wisdom within these offerings, to honor the origins of the teachings, and to bring this forward to the Future Generations in a good way.
Other details...
• Each session will provide an opportunity to connect with other participants in small groups.
• The first session will be a Welcoming and Orientation to how the recording sessions will flow. The last session will be a chance to share final thoughts and 'Wrap the Bundle' together.

Yes, very! The audience for the re-record will be an integral part of the production in that we will be cultivating a focused container of connection together around each Archetype to empower the flow of each recording session. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in correlating Nature Practices along the journey, to connect with other participants, and to share feedback and reflections after each session.
No worries! The recordings of the Live Sessions will be made available within a day or two for all who register.
